Velammal NewGen Group of Institutions is seeking a visually driven, detail-oriented Mid-Level Graphic Designer to join our internal marketing team. You will play a key role in bringing our brand to life across various touchpointsfrom vibrant social media campaigns to professional campus brochures. - Experience: 2–4 years of professional Graphic Design experience

Key Responsibilities 1. Digital Asset Creation

- Design engaging, high-converting graphics for social media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn), website banners, and email newsletters.
- Create basic motion graphics, reels, shorts, and video snippets to boost digital engagement.

2. Print & Environmental Design

- Assist in the layout and design of traditional marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, campus posters, and event invitations.
- Design large-scale environmental graphics, such as campus signage, event backdrops, and outdoor billboards.

3. Brand Stewardship

- Ensure all designs adhere to our established brand identity, maintaining strict consistency in typography, color palettes, and imagery across all institutions.
- Maintain and update the internal brand style guide as the institution evolves.

4. Campaign Support & Conceptualization

- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute visual concepts for admission seasons, academic milestones, and school festivals.
- Translate marketing objectives into compelling visual storytelling that resonates with parents and students alike.

5. Production & Workflow Management

- Basic editing, color correction, and retouching of campus photography to ensure a high-quality, editorial look.




- Organize and archive design assets, source files, and templates to ensure seamless team collaboration.
- Coordinate with external vendors and printers to ensure color accuracy, paper quality, and flawless final execution.

Technical Skills & Requirements

- Design Suite: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience with Canva or Figma is a plus.
- Typography & Layout: A solid understanding of visual hierarchy, white space, and professional typesetting.
- Output Knowledge: Familiarity with preparing files for both digital use (RGB/web formats) and professional print (CMYK/bleeds).
- Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a range of work, such as branding, social media layouts, or academic design projects.
- AI Tools: Familiarity with leveraging AI design tools (e.g., Midjourney, Adobe Firefly) for rapid prototyping and brainstorming is an asset.
- Education: A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Applied Arts, Visual Communication, or a related field.

Soft Skills

- Creative Problem Solving: Ability to take a complex message and turn it into a simple, effective visual.
- Adaptability: Comfortable switching between different styles—from playful designs for playschools to professional aesthetics for colleges.
