Role Overview

As a Google Cloud Engineer at Keyy, you will be responsible for the complete ownership of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure — from initial setup and architecture to deployment, monitoring, security, optimization, and troubleshooting. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud systems that support our core products and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on GCP
- Take end-to-end ownership of GCP architecture, setup, configuration, and maintenance
- Manage and optimize production cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Implement best practices for cloud security, IAM policies, networking, and compliance
- Configure and manage GKE clusters, compute resources, databases, storage, load balancers, and VPC networks
- Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management systems
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues end-to-end
- Implement backup, disaster recovery, failover,



and business continuity strategies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployments and improve infrastructure reliability
- Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and security practices

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Strong expertise in Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Load Balancing, and Cloud Monitoring
- Experience managing production-grade cloud infrastructure independently
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
- Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and incident response
- Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and cloud security best practices
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash/Python preferred)
- Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment
- Experience with PCI-DSS Certification, CASA Assessment, etc. (Preffered)
