As a Google Cloud Engineer at Keyy, you will be responsible for the complete ownership of our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure — from initial setup and architecture to deployment, monitoring, security, optimization, and troubleshooting. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available cloud systems that support our core products and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure on GCP

Take end-to-end ownership of GCP architecture, setup, configuration, and maintenance

Manage and optimize production cloud environments for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

Implement best practices for cloud security, IAM policies, networking, and compliance

Configure and manage GKE clusters, compute resources, databases, storage, load balancers, and VPC networks

Set up monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management systems

Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines

Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and production issues end-to-end

Implement backup, disaster recovery, failover,



and business continuity strategies

Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployments and improve infrastructure reliability

Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and security practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Strong expertise in Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, Load Balancing, and Cloud Monitoring

Experience managing production-grade cloud infrastructure independently

Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration

Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices

Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and incident response

Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and cloud security best practices

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows

Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash/Python preferred)

Ability to work independently and take ownership in a fast-paced startup environment

Experience with PCI-DSS Certification, CASA Assessment, etc. (Preffered)
