Role :Backend & DevOps Engineer (Golang/GCP)

Required Technical Skill Set :GoLang (Go 1.25+), REST API Development, gorilla/mux, Microservices, PostgreSQL 17, Raw SQL, database/sql, Flyway, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, Docker, CI/CD, Azure AD JWT Authentication, OAuth2, Secret Manager, SonarQube, FOSSA, Git, Unit Testing, Cloud Infrastructure

Desired Experience Range: 3-7 Years

Location of Requirement : Chennai/ Pune/Hyderabad

Must-Have

- Strong hands-on experience in GoLang backend development using REST APIs.
- Experience with gorilla/mux framework and microservice architectures.
- Strong understanding of Handler Service Repository architecture patterns.
- Experience writing optimized raw SQL queries using PostgreSQL and database/sql package.
- Hands-on experience with Flyway database migrations.
- Solid experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services including Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, and Secret Manager.




- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GCP Cloud Build.
- Strong knowledge of Docker multi-stage builds and containerized deployments.
- Experience implementing Azure AD JWT Authentication and OAuth2 Client Credentials Flow.
- Experience integrating SonarQube and FOSSA for code quality and compliance.
- Strong understanding of unit testing using httptest, mockery, and go-sqlmock.
- Experience with Git-based source code management and code reviews.

Good to have

- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud-native applications.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing Engineering domain.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of API security best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization and cloud cost optimization.
- Understanding of DevSecOps practices.
- Experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
