We are looking for an proactive Global Logistics Manager to join our team and oversee our end-to-end global shipping operations.

Role Overview

As the Global Logistics Manager, you will take ownership of our international and domestic freight operations. You’ll handle everything from ocean freight scheduling to final-mile trucking, ensuring on-time delivery to customer sites. This role requires a balance of operational grit, sharp attention to financial detail, rate negotiation, and exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Freight Coordination: Oversee international ocean shipments and domestic trucking logistics to guarantee accurate, on-time delivery to customer locations.
- Cost Optimization: Analyze shipping routes, negotiate carrier rates, and implement cost-saving strategies to continuously lower operational expenses without sacrificing reliability.
- Vendor & Customer Relations: Build strong, trust-based relationships with freight forwarders, carriers, and clients. Act as the proactive, single point of contact for customer inquiries regarding shipment statuses.
- Invoice & Financial Oversight: Review, reconcile, and approve vendor invoices to ensure accurate pricing,



prevent overbilling, and keep freight spend aligned with budgets.
- Meticulous Record-Keeping: Maintain complete and organized documentation for customs, bills of lading, inventory tracking, and regulatory compliance.
- Proactive Problem Solving: Monitor active shipments, identify potential delays early, and resolve logistics exceptions before they impact the customer.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Proven track record in global logistics management, international freight forwarding, ocean container shipping, and domestic drayage/trucking.
- Schedule: Must be available and aligned with US East Coast business hours (EST) .
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience in invoice auditing, rate negotiations, and logistics cost control.
- Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems, logistics management software, and advanced MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Attributes: Exceptional organizational skills, high attention to detail, and the ability to thrive independently in a rapid-paced environment.
