Role Description The German Teacher will deliver engaging online lessons to learners of varying ages and proficiency levels, using structured curricula aligned with StudyAsan’s educational standards. This part-time remote role includes planning lesson materials, assigning and evaluating coursework, and providing individualized feedback to support language acquisition and overall student progress.

The teacher will conduct interactive classes focusing on grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, while integrating cultural elements to deepen understanding of the German language.

Responsibilities also include maintaining student records,



collaborating with other educators to refine teaching approaches, and participating in virtual meetings or trainings to continuously improve instructional quality. The role requires consistent availability for scheduled classes and a learner-centered approach that supports diverse backgrounds and learning styles.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in German Teaching, including the ability to teach grammar, vocabulary, and communication effectively.
- Candidates should possess core Teaching and Education skills to design lesson plans, manage classes, and assess student performance.
- Candidates should possess Tutoring and Training skills to provide personalized support, remedial guidance, and exam preparation as needed.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German, with at least an advanced or equivalent certification (e.g., B2/C1 level or university specialization in German) is preferred.
- Experience teaching online or in hybrid environments, with confidence using digital tools and virtual classroom platforms.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills, with an inclusive, student-focused teaching style and respect for diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work full-time in a remote setting, demonstrating reliability, time management, and self-organization.
- A degree in Languages, Education, German Studies, or a related field, or equivalent teaching experience, is highly beneficial.
