Basic Function (Job Summary)

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented General Manager Operations to oversee and streamline the end-to-end operational functions across all our campuses in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be from an engineering background with strong leadership skills, experience in handling multi-functional operations, and the ability to drive operational excellence while ensuring compliance, cost efficiency, and high service standards. The candidate should preferably have experience in handling logistics & transport, vehicle management, purchase management, office maintenance, vendor management, manpower handling and Kitchen maintenance.

He/she could be from industries namely Manufacturing, Hospitality & Education.

Essential Duties and responsibilities (Requirements / Skills)

Operations Management

- Lead and manage day-to-day operations across multiple campuses.
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and SOPs.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all support services and administrative activities.
- Monitor operational performance and implement continuous improvements.

Procurement & Vendor Management
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Negotiate contracts, monitor vendor performance, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
- Ensure timely procurement while maintaining quality standards.

Facility & Infrastructure Management
- Manage maintenance of buildings, classrooms, kitchens, vehicles, and campus infrastructure.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are followed.




- Coordinate with external agencies for repairs and facility upgrades.

Kitchen & Hospitality Operations
- Supervise kitchen operations, food quality, hygiene, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure smooth functioning of hospitality and housekeeping services.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across all facilities.

Transport & Logistics
- Oversee vehicle fleet management, transportation schedules, and maintenance.
- Ensure efficient logistics planning and timely movement of materials and resources.

Manpower Management
- Lead and manage non-teaching staff, including housekeeping, security, drivers, maintenance, kitchen, and administrative teams.
- Plan manpower deployment and monitor workforce productivity.
- Conduct performance reviews and ensure employee discipline and engagement.

Compliance & Administration
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, safety standards, and organisational policies.
- Coordinate with government authorities and external agencies when required.
- Maintain operational records and documentation.

Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate with academic and administrative teams to ensure seamless campus operations.
- Provide operational support during events, inspections, and special initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills Required :

- Bachelors of Engineering in any field.
- MBA preferable but not mandatory.

Experience

- 1015 years of experience in operations management.
- Experience in schools, hospitals, hospitality, manufacturing, or large institutional organisations is preferred.




- Proven experience in managing multi-location operations.
