Scravel Recreational Tours Organizing LLC is a UAE-based travel and leisure company with 10+ years of expertise in retail travel services, group tours, and corporate travel solutions. We operate a successful full-service travel agency business across the Gulf region, serving thousands of retail customers annually, plus corporate clients and institutional clients. With our expansion into Kerala, we're launching a premium retail travel agency hub offering domestic & international flights, holiday packages, visa services, and corporate/government travel solutions.

THE ROLE

As General Manager, you'll establish and scale Scravel's retail travel agency operations in Kochi—managing all aspects of a full-service travel business. You'll oversee:

? RETAIL TRAVEL AGENCY OPERATIONS ⭐ PRIMARY FOCUS

- Manage complete travel agency counter & online operations (domestic/international flights, holiday packages, visas, travel insurance)
- Build and lead a team of travel consultants, booking agents, and customer service staff
- Drive retail customer acquisition through walk-ins, referrals, and digital channels




- Create and market compelling holiday packages (family vacations, group tours, honeymoon, adventure, pilgrimage travel)
- Manage GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, or similar), airline contracts, and commission structures
- Build vendor networks with airlines, hotels, resorts, and tour operators
- Maintain inventory of tour packages and handle real-time bookings and payments
- Deliver exceptional customer service and manage customer retention

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Must-Have Experience:

✓ 4-7+ years in retail travel agency, tour operations, or hospitality/tourism management

✓ Hands-on experience managing travel counter operations, GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre), and booking platforms

✓ Proven track record building and leading customer-facing teams

✓ Robust P&L;, budgeting, and financial management experience

✓ Demonstrated sales and customer acquisition ability (retail or B2B travel)

✓ Experience launching new travel businesses, branches, or business lines is a strong plus

✓ Knowledge of Indian travel market and Kerala tourism landscape preferred
