Post - General Manager (Plant)

Location: Indore (Pithampur)

Reports To: Managing Director

Purpose of the Role

Lead the overall plant operations and ensure safe, compliant, productive and profitable manufacturing. The GM will be responsible for driving operational excellence, cross-functional coordination and building a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Production, QA, QC, R&D;, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, Stores, Warehouse, HR and Plant Administration.
- Achieve production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
- Improve capacity utilisation, productivity and reduce WIP.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, FSSC 22000, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
- Drive planning, procurement and inventory management.
- Lead CAPA, Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement KPI dashboards, daily review meetings and action tracking.
- Develop department heads and build a culture of accountability and discipline.
- Drive cost reduction,



batch costing and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech (Chemical/Mechanical/Production) preferred; MBA is an advantage.
- 15–20 years of manufacturing experience, with at least 5 years leading a plant.
- Experience in Herbal Extracts, Nutraceuticals, Pharmaceuticals, Food Ingredients or Speciality Chemicals.
