Job Title: QA Functional Tester (68 Years Experience)

Location: [Hyderabad / Hybrid]

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Tester with 6–8 years of functional testing & Integration testing experience of core banking applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in software testing principles, and experience working closely with development and DevOps teams to ensure high-quality, reliable software releases.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria
- Perform API testing, database validation, and System Integration testing
- Identify, log, and track defects; work closely with development teams for timely resolution
- Analyze test results, identify gaps, and continuously improve test coverage
- Perform manual testing when required for exploratory, UAT, or edge-case scenarios
- Participate in test strategy, planning, and estimation activities
- Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to QA best practices
- Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and automation reports

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 6–8 years of experience in software quality assurance with solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and QA best practices
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, defect tracking, and reporting
- Experience testing web-based and client-server applications of Core Banking domain applications




- Valuable understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Familiarity with SQL and database testing

- Payments & Transfers
- Loans & Lending

- Cards Processing
- KYC & AML Verification

- Digital Banking Channels

- Transaction Processing

Banking Domain Experience Must have hands-on experience in one or more of the following:

- Retail Banking
- Commercial Banking
- Digital Banking
- Core Banking Systems
- Payments & Settlements
- Lending Platforms
- Credit Card Processing
- KYC/AML Compliance
- Regulatory Reporting

Desirable / Good-to-Have Skills

- Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
- Exposure to performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling)
- Knowledge of mobile test automation (Appium)
- Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
