Role Summary

As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Roadcast, you will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying scalable full-stack solutions across backend and frontend systems. The role requires strong expertise in multi-tenant architecture, RBAC, real-time systems, and production-grade deployments.

This is a hands-on engineering role that demands architectural thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver high-quality, scalable code in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Backend Architecture & Development

- Design and implement multi-tenant backend systems with strict data isolation
- Develop scalable backend APIs using Go (preferred) or Python
- Build and maintain GraphQL APIs (queries, mutations, subscriptions)
- Implement authentication and authorization systems using JWT/session-based strategies
- Develop real-time workflows using WebSockets, GraphQL subscriptions, or pub/sub mechanisms
- Build and optimize order ingestion, assignment logic, and status orchestration systems
- Improve database performance through indexing, caching, and rate limiting

Frontend Engineering

- Develop scalable, high-performance user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript
- Implement authentication flows including login, logout, and role-based access screens
- Build dashboards for real-time data visualization and operational insights
- Integrate GraphQL queries and subscriptions into frontend applications

DevOps & Deployment

- Write and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS, GCP,



or DigitalOcean using Docker and container orchestration tools (ECS, Lambda, Cloud Run, etc.)
- Configure environment variables, secrets, and database provisioning
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline design and improve system reliability

Leadership & Collaboration

- Mentor junior engineers and interns across backend and frontend domains
- Participate in system design discussions and technical roadmap planning
- Review pull requests for scalability, architecture, and code quality
- Collaborate closely with the TPM to translate product requirements into technical execution

Requirements

Core Technical Skills

- 47 years of full-stack development experience
- Robust backend expertise in Go or Python
- Hands-on experience with GraphQL frameworks (Apollo, gqlgen, FastAPI with Strawberry, etc.)
- Experience building real-time systems (WebSockets, subscriptions, pub/sub)
- Strong understanding of multi-tenant architecture (schema-per-tenant, shared DB, row-level filtering)
- Experience implementing RBAC (roles, permissions, scoped access)
- Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript for frontend development
- Experience with Docker, containerization, and cloud deployments
- Ability to write Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Pulumi, CDK, or similar)

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in logistics, mobility, or operational platforms
- Exposure to machine learning or telemetry systems
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot, Claude)
