Full Stack Software Engineer Location: India (Remote) Employment Type: Full-Time About Digital Alpha Technologies Digital Alpha Technologies is a data and cloud technology company focused on building modern, scalable software solutions for the financial services industry. We help organizations accelerate digital transformation by developing secure, cloud-native applications and data-driven platforms using modern engineering practices. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about building high-quality software across the frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of end-to-end development, and contribute to delivering scalable, reliable, and secure applications.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript. Build and integrate backend services using Node.js and Python (FastAPI/Flask), and design reliable RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable AWS infrastructure using services such as Lambda, Cognito, API Gateway, S3, RDS/Redshift, CloudFormation, and AWS CDK.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline, while contributing to DevOps best practices. Optimize application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and scalability across web and mobile platforms. Monitor application health using logs, metrics, and tracing tools to ensure system reliability.
Translate business and product requirements into technical solutions and rapidly prototype features in agile development cycles. Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and thoroughly tested code, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous refactoring to improve code quality and maintainability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external service providers to build secure integrations and implement reliable APIs. Support production systems by troubleshooting issues, contributing to incident response, and implementing reliability improvements. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry best practices, and modern software development methodologies.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in full-stack software development. Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript. Hands-on experience with React.js, Next.js, and up-to-date frontend development. Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Python (FastAPI/Flask).
Experience designing, developing, and integrating RESTful and GraphQL APIs. Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or cloud-managed databases including Amazon RDS.
Experience with Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD practices. Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerized application development. Familiarity with serverless architectures and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or AWS CDK).
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. AWS Certifications are a plus.
