About FLIP

FLIP is building an AI-powered shopping and financial assistant that helps users discover offers, compare prices, choose the right credit card, and maximize rewards and cashback across online and offline purchases.

We are looking for a Frontend Developer Intern who enjoys building fast, intuitive, and reliable digital experiences. This is not a shadow role. You will work on live product features used by real customers and collaborate directly with the founders, product, design, and engineering teams.

Must have

1. Experience building mobile applications using Flutter and Dart.
2. Familiarity with Firebase, AWS, analytics tools, or notification systems.
3. Experience publishing or deploying a web or mobile application.
4. Understanding of application performance optimization.
5. Previous internship, freelance project, hackathon, or personal product development experience.
6. An active GitHub profile or portfolio showcasing relevant projects.

What You’ll Own

1. Develop and improve frontend experiences across FLIP’s mobile and web platforms.
2. Translate product requirements and Figma designs into responsive, functional interfaces.
3. Build reusable UI components that are scalable and easy to maintain.
4. Integrate frontend applications with APIs, backend services, and third-party platforms.
5. Improve application performance, responsiveness, and overall user experience.
6. Test features across devices, identify bugs, and support timely resolution.
7. Take ownership of assigned modules from development and testing through deployment.
8. Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify user journeys and improve usability.
9. Participate in code reviews,



technical discussions, and product experiments.
10. Proactively identify opportunities to improve the product, development process, and frontend architecture.

What We’re Looking For

1. Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary frontend development fundamentals.
3. Hands-on experience with Flutter, React, Next.js, or a similar frontend framework.
4. Familiarity with REST APIs, Git, GitHub, and version control workflows.
5. Understanding of responsive design, component-based architecture, and state management.
6. Ability to convert designs into clean and accurate user interfaces.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
8. Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a high level of ownership.
9. Willingness to learn, experiment, and independently solve problems.
