About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Frontend Developer to build modern, scalable, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in React.js, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and experience working with Node.js-based applications and APIs. The developer will work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality software.

Experience with Python-based backend systems (FastAPI/Django/Flask) will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop responsive and high-performance web applications using React.js.
- Build reusable components and maintainable frontend architecture.
- Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into pixel-perfect interfaces.
- Work closely with backend developers to define API contracts and optimise application performance.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues across browsers and devices.
- Optimise applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards.
- Write clean, modular, and well-documented code.
- Work in Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Required Skills

Frontend

- Strong experience with React.js (Hooks, Context API, Functional Components).
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid,



and responsive design.
- Experience with Redux, Zustand, or other state management libraries.
- Familiarity with React Router.
- Experience consuming REST APIs.
- Knowledge of component-based architecture and reusable UI design.

Backend & APIs

- Working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
- Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
- Experience handling authentication (JWT, OAuth) is desirable.

Development Tools

- Git and GitHub/Azure DevOps.
- npm/yarn.
- Webpack, Vite, or similar build tools.
- Browser Developer Tools.
- VS Code or similar IDE.

Testing

- Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar testing frameworks.
- Understanding of unit testing and end-to-end testing.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Python (FastAPI, Django, or Flask).
- Experience working with Azure Cloud.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerised applications.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of application security best practices.
- Experience with Material UI, Tailwind CSS, or Bootstrap.
- Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with WebSockets or real-time applications.
- Experience integrating AI or LLM-based applications is an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
