Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will work full-time in office at the Stars N Stripes office in Malad, collaborating closely with the Studio SNS and Social Circle teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video content for campaigns, social media, branded series, and long-form projects, ensuring cohesive storytelling and alignment with brand guidelines.

The role involves selecting and assembling footage, refining audio and pacing, applying color correction, and integrating motion graphics or visual elements to enhance viewer engagement.

The Video

Editor will contribute creative ideas,



follow project briefs and timelines, and coordinate with directors, producers, and designers to deliver polished, platform-ready content. This position requires managing multiple projects simultaneously and responding to feedback efficiently to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience assembling raw footage into compelling narratives.
- Strong Video Color Grading skills to create consistent, high-quality visual aesthetics across diverse projects.
- Ability to design and integrate Motion Graphics and Graphics to support storytelling and brand messaging.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and motion design tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Solid understanding of aspect ratios, formats, and best practices for social media and digital video platforms.
- Attention to detail, solid time management, and ability to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Relevant educational background in film, media, design, or a related field, or equivalent qualified experience.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating a range of video editing work, including social content, ads, and storytelling pieces.
