Role Description The Freelance Video Editor will handle end-to-end post-production for a variety of video projects, including wedding films, Reels, podcast videos, product teasers, office/brand teasers, and general content creation videos. Work spans cutting footage, assembling timelines, and refining narratives to align with creative briefs. Day-to-day tasks include organizing and managing raw assets, synchronizing audio, applying transitions, and integrating motion graphics and visual elements to enhance the final product. The editor will perform basic to advanced color grading, adjust sound levels, and prepare exports optimized for different platforms and formats (Reels, YouTube, long-form, etc.). Collaboration with producers, directors, and other creatives is expected to incorporate feedback, meet deadlines, and maintain brand guidelines. This is a full-time remote freelance role,



requiring dependable availability, self-management, and timely communication. Qualifications

Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including organizing footage, structuring timelines, and shaping clear visual stories across formats like Reels Editing, Podcast Video Editing, Product Teasers, Office Teasers, and Content Creation Videos.

Experience editing wedding films, from ceremony highlights to full-length narrative cuts.

Proficiency in Video Color Grading, with the ability to correct and stylize footage to meet creative and technical requirements.

Basic Motion Graphics skills (titles, lower thirds, simple animated elements) required;

experience creating more Advanced Motion Graphics and integrating Graphics to support branding is a strong plus.

Advanced knowledge of industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).

Solid understanding of audio editing, basic sound design, and preparing files for multiple platforms and aspect ratios.

Robust attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects remotely with minimal supervision.

Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and creative teams in a remote environment.

Relevant portfolio or showreel showcasing video editing, color grading, motion graphics, and wedding editing work; prior freelance or studio experience is beneficial.
