PANHA supports a community of more than 20,000 members and offers chat-based peer support, professional counseling sessions, and special assistance for those facing harassment or stalking.
The organization also partners with schools, colleges, and workplaces to build mentally strong, emotionally safe communities. PANHA’s vision is to help decrease suicide cases and ensure no one has to go through difficult times alone.
Role Description As a Founding Psychologist Member at PANHA: You're Not Alone!, you will help shape and deliver high-quality mental health support within our growing hybrid practice based in New Delhi, with some flexibility for work from home from home. In this part-time role, you will conduct individual counseling sessions, provide psychological assessments as appropriate, and offer evidence-informed interventions for a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns. You will collaborate with trained peer-support Buddies, contribute to safety and crisis protocols,
and help maintain our standards of confidentiality, ethical practice, and non-judgmental care.
Day-to-day responsibilities include documenting sessions, participating in case discussions, contributing to educational content and group workshops, and advising on best practices for institutional partnerships. As a founding member, you will also provide input on service design, clinical guidelines, and community initiatives to strengthen PANHA’s impact.
Qualifications
Strong grounding in Psychology, with formal education and understanding of core psychological theories and practices.
Demonstrated experience in Counseling and Mental Health support, including individual therapy and crisis handling.
Ability to conduct and interpret Psychological Assessment in a sensitive, ethical, and culturally informed manner.
Background in Medicine or close collaboration with medical professionals is an asset, especially for integrated care.
Master’s degree or higher in Clinical, Counseling, or Mental Health Psychology (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Relevant professional registration or licensing, in line with local regulations and ethical standards.
Excellent active listening, empathy, and communication skills, with a commitment to anonymous, judgment-free support.
Comfort with digital platforms, secure online communication, and maintaining accurate, confidential records.
