Chemist Ø Purpose of Position The job incumbent is responsible to. Analyse food samples for wet chemistry parameters as per Customer/Regulatory requirement. The position performs in line with the Bureau Veritas Lab testing activities including the BV Code of Ethics and the BV Group policy. Ø Major Responsibilities Report to the section In-Charge Analysis of samples in wet chemistry section Responsible for maintenance, calibration and intermediate checks of instruments/glasswares.

To follow indenting, receipt, inspection and storage of CRM and consumables. Preparation of Standard operating procedure. Other tasks as required. Ø Roles &

Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE i.e. any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers. Ø Criteria for Performance Evaluation (KPIs) Reporting results as per TAT Technical competency and performance in the Audit.

Achievement of Z score in PT ILC . Ø Qualification and Experience Graduate or Post Graduate with Chemistry Background in food testing industry Min 3-4 years’ experience in relevant field Skills & Qualities: Knowledge on food Testing Excellent communication Skill Handling and preparation of Audit documents Experience Level Entry Level
