Role Description The Financial Officer is a part-time, hybrid role based in Current Delhi, with some work-from-home flexibility. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial statements and records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring cash flow, tracking expenses and revenue, assisting with budgeting and forecasts, and supporting management with financial analysis for decision-making.
The Financial
Officer will prepare periodic financial reports,
coordinate with internal teams on financial data, and help implement financial controls and best practices. The role also involves communicating key financial insights to leadership in clear, accessible formats and supporting audits or external reviews as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Finance, including knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial management practices.
- Experience working with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submissions.
- Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
- Effective Communication skills to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or financial software tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; relevant certification (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA equivalent) is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage part-time schedules, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Prior experience in a consulting, publishing, or professional services environment is beneficial.
