About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst with 4–5 years of experience in finance operations, financial analysis, taxation compliance, and P&L; review. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical capabilities, hands-on experience with TDS & GST compliance, and the ability to support business finance and reporting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Perform financial analysis and prepare periodic MIS reports.
- Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and operational KPIs.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Conduct variance analysis and identify key business drivers.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning exercises.
P&L; Review
- Review Profit & Loss statements and identify anomalies or trends.
- Work closely with business teams to track financial performance.
- Ensure proper cost allocation and expense tracking.
- Support management with actionable financial insights and recommendations.
TDS & GST Compliance
- Handle end-to-end TDS compliance including deduction, reconciliation, payment, and return filing.
- Manage GST compliance activities including reconciliations, input tax credit validation, and return filing support.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and auditors for tax-related queries.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
Reconciliation & Controls
- Perform ledger scrutiny and account reconciliations.
- Ensure accuracy of financial data and accounting records.
- Support internal and external audit requirements.
- Improve financial processes and strengthen internal controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- MBA (Finance) / Commerce Graduate / Equivalent qualification.
- 4–5 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong understanding of TDS and GST regulations.
- Good knowledge of financial statements and P&L; analysis.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic financial modeling).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
