About the Role

Fairground is seeking a curious, detail-oriented Finance & Operations Specialist who thrives on solving diverse problems and is eager to take increasing ownership over critical systems and projects. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our financial and operational processes function seamlessly, enabling the company to operate efficiently and scale effectively.

What You'll Do

- Own day-to-day finance and operations workflows—including expense tracking, invoice management, and reporting—with precision and consistency, proactively ensuring nothing is missed and deadlines are met without reminders.

- Maintain and improve internal processes and documentation, safeguarding accuracy and thoroughness in all operational records.

- Independently drive operational tasks, such as data tracking, coordinating with vendors, and addressing internal requests, seeing each task through to completion.

- Evaluate existing workflows to spot gaps or inefficiencies, and proactively propose and implement solutions to streamline operations.





- Oversee the integrity and accuracy of financial and operational data across spreadsheets and internal tools, serving as the primary owner of this information.

- Lead smaller projects from planning through execution as an individual contributor, being accountable for their timeliness, quality, and intended outcomes.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with team members across the organization, taking personal ownership for your contributions to shared challenges.

What We're Looking For

- MBA from Tier 1/2 institute or CA/CIMA

- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in finance and operations roles.

- Meticulous attention to detail and solid skills working with numbers, spreadsheets, and structured data.

- Effective communicator with proven ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and other teams..

- Comfort with ambiguity and a proactive attitude toward learning new tools and systems on the job.
