KHMD is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to own the general ledger, month-end/year-end close, and financial reporting processes. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, hands-on SAP experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all
- financial transactions.

- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries,

- accruals, and account reconciliations.

- Prepare and review financial statements (P&;L, balance sheet, cash flow) in accordance
- with US GAAP.

- Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely
- manner.

- Maintain and process transactions within SAP, including GL postings, intercompany
- entries, and fixed assets.

- Support external audits, tax filings, and internal control (SOX) compliance requirements.

- Analyze financial data and prepare variance analysis and management reporting
- packages.

- Partner with Cost Accounting, AP/AR, and Operations teams to ensure accurate cost




- and inventory reporting.

- Assist in developing and improving accounting policies, procedures, and internal
- controls.

- Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CA, CPA or CMA preferred).

- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing
- setting.

- Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO) is required; SAP certification is a plus.

- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.

- Advanced Excel skills: experience with financial reporting tools is a plus.

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in the solar, renewable energy, or industrial manufacturing sector.

- Familiarity with cost accounting and standard costing in SAP & US GAAP.

- Experience supporting external audits and SOX compliance
