Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat (Requires extensive travel across Gujarat & Rajasthan) Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Industrial Machinery / Mechanical Engineering About the Role We are looking for a proactive, field-driven Sales Engineer to drive business development and techno-commercial sales for world-class industrial equipment. In this role, you will represent Edwards Vacuum Pumps (Gujarat & Rajasthan) and Kay International Industrial Blowers (Gujarat), serving key process industries, OEMs, and project contractors.

Key Responsibilities Business Development: Identify and generate new leads via plant visits, cold calling, and market research across process industries (Pharma, Chemical, Packaging, Engineering, etc.).

Technical Sales & Support: Analyze customer applications, select appropriate pump/blower models, and offer tailored technical solutions.

Proposal & Deal Closure: Draft accurate techno-commercial offers, negotiate terms, follow up rigorously, and close sales targets.

Client Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with plant heads, maintenance, and procurement teams to drive recurring spares/AMC sales.

Cross-Functional Coordination:



Work closely with the internal service team for seamless equipment installation, commissioning, and after-sales support.

Requirements & Qualifications Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).

Experience: Minimum 2+ years in technical field sales, preferably handling pumps, blowers, compressors, vacuum systems, or rotating equipment.

Key Skills: Strong technical acumen, basic offer creation (MS Excel/Word/PDF), and persuasive communication.

Languages: Proficiency in Gujarati & Hindi; working knowledge of English for written communication.

Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively within Gujarat and Rajasthan. Valid driving license & two-wheeler preferred.
