Execute crack growth, residual strength, and fatigue life assessments using ISAMI modules. Develop and validate ISAMI templates, including crack and joint models. Perform structural sizing and stress analysis of fuselage structures and interfaces using hand calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).
Create numerical models, perform post-processing, and prepare technical reports. Prepare certification-quality stress dossiers and technical documentation.
Support design optimization and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams. Develop and maintain Excel macros and automation tools to improve engineering efficiency. Ensure compliance with Airbus standards, certification requirements, and engineering best practices.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related discipline. 15 years of experience in Aerospace Structural Stress Analysis, with a focus on Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT;).
Experience working on Airbus aircraft programs will be an added advantage. Good understanding of aircraft loads and structural behavior.
Experience in spectrum generation and Kt calculations. Strong knowledge of Fatigue & Damage Tolerance (F&DT;) analysis for Airbus aircraft. Hands-on experience with ISAMI modules, including crack models, joint models, and template preparation. Experience in structural sizing and stress analysis using hand calculations and FEM. Knowledge of numerical modeling, post-processing, and engineering report preparation.
Experience in writing certification stress dossiers. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and VBA/macros. Technical Tools ISAMI HyperView (Post-processing) Microsoft Excel & VBA Nastran/Patran CATIA V5 Basic knowledge of ZAMIZ/AIRENA
Knowledge of Python scripting for engineering automation. Understanding of Airbus structural design and certification processes. Familiarity with aerospace regulations and certification methodologies. Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and technical documentation abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
