Job Summary

KolkataProperties is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer with 5+ years of professional experience in residential and commercial interior design. The ideal candidate should possess strong design, planning, visualization, and site execution skills, with the ability to manage projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative interior design concepts based on client requirements.
- Prepare space planning, layout plans, and detailed working drawings.
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D designs, renderings, and presentations.
- Prepare mood boards, material selections, and furniture layouts.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Conduct site visits to monitor execution and ensure design accuracy.
- Resolve on-site design and execution challenges.
- Ensure projects are completed within timelines and quality standards.
- Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and project documentation.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, and technologies.

Required Skills

- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Strong working knowledge of SketchUp
- Expertise in V-Ray for rendering
- Positive understanding of design detailing and space planning
- Knowledge of material specifications and finishes
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously





Site Execution Knowledge

The candidate must have hands-on experience in:

- Interior site supervision
- Coordination with contractors and vendors
- Civil, electrical, plumbing, and false ceiling coordination
- Furniture and modular installation
- Quality checks and finishing inspections
- Project execution and handover

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture from a recognized institute.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in residential and commercial interior projects.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or interior design firms will be preferred.
