- Design & Development: Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings (2D/3D) for new products or improvements to existing ones.
- CAD Proficiency: Utilize software like SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD, or Creo to generate designs.
- Engineering Analysis: Perform calculations related to strength, loads, performance, and tolerance stacks to ensure design validity.
- Prototyping & Testing: Support prototyping activities and participate in testing/troubleshooting to validate design concepts.
- Technical Documentation: Write engineering change requests (ECR/ECOs), material specifications, and production reports.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Liaise with manufacturing and R&D; teams to ensure design feasibility (Design for Manufacturability - DFM).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-3 years of proven experience in a Design Engineer or similar role.
