We are seeking a highly organized, execution-driven Senior Manager – Operations to lead end-to-end execution for experiential marketing campaigns, corporate events, and large format live productions.
In this role, you will bridge creative vision and on-ground execution managing complex logistics, vendor networks, budgets, and cross functional teams under demanding timelines. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands on experience in production, a commercial mindset, and a calm, decisive leadership style to deliver high impact brand experiences.
Key Responsibilities1. End to End Project & Operational Management
- Execution Strategy: Translate creative concepts into detailed operational plans, schedules, and run of show timelines.
- Multi-Project Oversight: Simultaneously manage multiple high value projects from pre-production to post event teardown.
- On-Site Supervision: Oversee installation, technical rehearsals, show execution, and venue dismantling, ensuring zero operational failures.
- Risk & Compliance: Conduct pre event risk assessments, implement safety standards, ensure compliance with venue/statutory regulations, and build robust contingency plans.
2. Technical & Production Oversight
Direct technical design and vendor execution across key domains:
- Stage design, scenic production, fabrication, and custom branding installations.
- Technical setups: AV systems, LED walls, lighting rigs, audio engineering, and power distribution.
- Event tech: Internet infrastructure, live streaming, and hybrid event setups.
3. Vendor & Supply Chain Management
- Build, evaluate, and maintain a regional database of high-quality vendors, fabricators, and technical partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to optimize costs without compromising quality or safety standards.
- Conduct post event vendor audits to track performance and value delivery.
4. Financial & Budget Control
- Formulate detailed project budgets in tandem with Client Servicing and Finance teams.
- Monitor expenditure, control wastage, and manage profitability across project lifecycles.
- Ensure all purchase orders, work orders, and vendor payments strictly adhere to internal financial controls.
5. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Lead, mentor, and allocate resources across Operations Managers, Executives, and freelance teams.
- Foster a high-accountability culture through regular operational reviews and constructive feedback.
- Partner with clients and internal account leads to present execution plans, offer technical solutions, and provide transparent project status updates.
6. Quality Control & Continuous Improvement
- Guarantee that build quality, finishing, and branding align precisely with approved visual decks.
- Lead post-event debriefs, capture key learnings, and build internal operational playbooks.
- Track operational KPIs and maintain accurate project archives.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field. (MBA is a plus).
- Experience:
- 8–12 years in event production, experiential marketing, or live events.
- 3+ years in a direct managerial/leadership capacity.
- Proven track record managing individual project budgets ranging from ₹50 Lakh to ₹10+ Crore.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Deep knowledge of fabrication materials, staging, lighting, AV setups, and venue logistics.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and modern Project Management software (Asana, Monday.com, Trello, etc.).
