Job Overview

Gateway International School, IB Padur Campus, is seeking a passionate, experienced, and student-centered Mathematics Facilitator for the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP). The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and a deep understanding of IB philosophy and inquiry-based learning practices.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Responsibilities

- Teach Mathematics for IB MYP and DP students effectively using inquiry-based and concept-driven methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with IB curriculum frameworks and assessment criteria.
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills among students.
- Design and administer formative and summative assessments as per IB standards.




- Support students in Internal Assessments (IA), Extended Essays (EE), and interdisciplinary learning wherever applicable.
- Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data, and student progress reports.

Classroom & Student Management

- Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs.
- Encourage international-mindedness and uphold the IB learner profile attributes.
- Mentor and guide students academically and personally when required.

Collaboration & School Responsibilities

- Participate actively in curriculum planning meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues for interdisciplinary projects and academic initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Contribute to the overall academic excellence and culture of the school.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
