Lead -Data Engineer

We are hiring a Lead Data Engineer with 5+ years of experience in building scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL, and PySpark, with exposure to Microsoft Fabric and modern Lakehouse architectures.

Key skills :
- Strong SQL (T-SQL/PL-SQL): query optimization, performance tuning
- Hands-on Azure Data Factory (ADF): pipeline design, orchestration, monitoring
- Experience with PySpark / Databricks or Fabric Spark
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Dataflows, Pipelines, OneLake)
- Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts (SCD, star schema)
- Experience with Azure Data Services (ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL / Synapse)
- Familiarity with CI/CD & DevOps (Azure DevOps, Git)

Responsibilities
- Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using ADF and/or Fabric




- Develop scalable data transformations using SQL & PySpark
- Implement data models and Lakehouse architectures
- Perform data cleansing, migration, and validation
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline performance
- Support testing, deployments, and CI/CD processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Good to Have
- Exposure to streaming (Event Hub/Kafka)
- Experience with Power BI / Fabric semantic models
- Understanding of data security & governance
