Role Objective:

To lead the overall plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective production while maintaining quality standards, customer satisfaction, and people development in alignment with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence

- Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery targets.
- Ensure smooth production flow with optimum utilization of manpower, materials, and machines.
- Maintain plant OEE above defined standards and ensure zero-line stoppage due to material or maintenance issues.
- Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure FIFO adherence for all Raw Material (RM) and Finished Goods (FG).

Quality, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure adherence to company quality standards and timely resolution of customer complaints.
- Drive plant safety culture with 100% compliance to statutory and EHS norms.




- Ensure preventive maintenance and availability of critical spares as per MQL.

People Management

- Lead, motivate, and develop plant teams to achieve high performance.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews (KRA & KPI) and ensure skill development programs.
- Maintain positive employee relations and ensure policy adherence.

Reporting & Reviews

- Review and monitor daily/weekly/monthly production, quality, and maintenance performance.
- Present MIS reports to Regional Head and drive corrective actions where required.

Candidate Profile:

- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
- Experience: 10–20 years in manufacturing (preferably in plastics / packaging / FMCG industry).
- Solid knowledge of production management, maintenance systems, lean practices, and people leadership.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
