Job Summary:

The Plant HR professional is responsible for overseeing all human resources functions and initiatives within a manufacturing plant workplace. This role ensures the effective management of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the plant's operational goals while fostering a positive and productive work culture. The Plant HR Manager acts as a strategic partner to plant leadership, providing guidance on employee relations, talent management, compliance, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and administer HR policies and procedures in alignment with corporate guidelines and local labor laws, ensuring compliance and fairness.
- Manage all aspects of employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Lead recruitment and staffing efforts for all plant positions, from hourly production roles to supervisory and technical staff, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive pay structures and effective communication of benefits to employees.
- Oversee performance management processes,



including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans, to foster employee growth and accountability.
- Identify training and development needs for plant employees and leadership, coordinating and facilitating relevant programs to enhance skills and capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations (e.g., OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, EEO), conducting audits and maintaining accurate records.
- Collaborate with the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) team to promote a safe working environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols and incident reporting.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR information systems (HRIS) records, preparing reports and analyzing HR metrics to support decision-making.
- Provide guidance and coaching to plant management on HR-related issues, leadership development, and organizational change initiatives.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and communication strategies to enhance morale and retention.
