We are looking for a dedicated and organized Librarian to manage the school library and create a stimulating learning environment that encourages reading, research, and independent learning among students. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, a passion for books, and the ability to support students and faculty in accessing library resources effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the school library.
- Organize, classify, catalog, and maintain books, journals, digital resources, and other library materials.
- Issue and receive library books while maintaining accurate records.
- Guide students and teachers in selecting appropriate books and reference materials.
- Promote reading habits by organizing book fairs, reading programs, storytelling sessions, and literary activities.
- Maintain the library catalogue and ensure all resources are properly updated.
- Procure new books and learning resources based on curriculum requirements and recommendations.
- Ensure the library is well-organized, clean, and conducive to learning.
- Assist students with research projects and information retrieval using both print and digital resources.




- Maintain inventory records and prepare periodic reports on library usage and book stock.
- Enforce library rules and ensure proper handling of books and resources.
- Collaborate with teachers to support curriculum-based learning and academic activities.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Library Science (B.Lib.Sc./M.Lib.Sc.) or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Librarian, preferably in a school.
- Experience in a CBSE school is preferred.

- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital library management tools.
- Ability to encourage reading habits and support students' learning needs.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
