Reporting To: General Manager / Operations Manager

Job Location: Kotturpuram / Karapakkam

Experience: 2–6 Years in Aluminium Doors & Windows, Façade, uPVC, or Building Envelope Industry

Qualification:

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or related Engineering
- Certification in AutoCAD will be an added advantage.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically competent Design & Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate quotations, BOQs, cost estimates, drawings, and reports for aluminium doors, windows, ventilators, glazing, and façade projects. The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, estimation software, and AutoCAD, with a valuable understanding of aluminium systems and project documentation.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation & Costing

- Prepare techno-commercial quotations based on client enquiries.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) from architectural drawings.
- Calculate aluminium profile quantities, glass, hardware, accessories, sealants,



and consumables.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates considering material, labour, transport, and overhead costs.
- Review tender documents and project specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers for pricing updates.
- Maintain updated rate databases for materials and accessories.
- Ensure quotations are accurate, competitive, and submitted within deadlines.

Quotation Preparation:

- Prepare quotations using Microsoft Excel.
- Generate quotations through ERP/estimation software.
- Revise quotations based on client comments and design changes.
- Maintain proper quotation records and version control.

Design & Drafting

- Prepare basic AutoCAD drawings for aluminium doors, windows, ventilators, and glazing systems.
- Modify architectural drawings as required.
- Prepare shop drawings and fabrication sketches under senior guidance.
- Verify dimensions and prepare cutting details.
- Coordinate with the production and project teams for design clarifications.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
