Key Responsibilities1. Patient Assistance & Flow Management

- Warm Welcome: Greet patients, assist with registration, verify documentation, and guide them through the hospital's clinical care steps.
- Mobility Support: Escort and physically assist elderly, visually impaired, or dilated patients safely between waiting areas, diagnostic rooms, and doctor cabins.
- Queue Coordination: Monitor the patient waiting area, manage appointment schedules, and coordinate with the clinical team to minimize wait times.

2. Preliminary Clinical Support

- Basic Preparation: Direct patients to diagnostic stations and explain upcoming non-invasive screening procedures to reduce anxiety.
- Eye Drop Administration: Under the direct supervision of medical staff, safely administer dilating drops or numbing drops as instructed, documenting the exact timing.
- Post-Op Care Guidance: Distribute post-operative care kits and clearly explain basic, doctor-approved instructions (like patch care or immediate hygiene rules) to patients and their families.

3. Administrative & Environmental Coordination

- Records Management: Update and maintain patient records, ensuring token numbers, diagnostic sheets, and consent forms are correctly organized in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Billing & Pharmacy Handover: Guide patients to the billing desk,



insurance department, or in-house pharmacy post-consultation to ensure a seamless exit.
- Sanitization Monitoring: Ensure patient waiting zones and consultation rooms are kept clean, orderly, and comfortable.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: High school diploma, Graduate degree (B.Sc., B.Com, B.A.), or a Diploma in Hospital Administration / Allied Health Services.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in patient care, hospitality, front-desk operations, or customer service. Experience in a hospital or eye care center is a solid plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in the local regional language and a working knowledge of English to assist a diverse patient base.
- Soft Skills: High empathy, exceptional patience (especially with elderly patients), strong communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills with the ability to learn hospital management software and digital queue systems quickly.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

- Active Role: Requires standing and moving around the hospital floor for extended periods.
- Shift Flexibility: Ability to work in rotating day shifts according to hospital OPD hours.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
