Job Title: Dental Assistant

We are looking for a dental assistant for our practice. A Dental Assistant has the following primary duties:

- Assist the Dentists, performing the full range of chairside duties;

- Perform preventive dentistry procedures and deliver preventive dentistry instruction;

- Produce dental x-rays and preliminary impressions for study casts;

- Perform clinical dental laboratory procedures;

- Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment;

- Manage dental supplies and records

- Make patients as comfortable as possible in the dental chair, prepare them for treatment, and obtain dental records

- Hand instruments and materials to dentists, and keep patients' mouths dry and explicit by using suction or other devices

- sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare tray setups for dental procedures

- sometimes prepare materials for making impressions and restorations, expose radiographs, and process dental x-ray film as directed by a dentist

- Make casts of the teeth and mouth from impressions
clean and polish removable appliances

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar clinic
