Key Responsibilities

- Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules in coordination with the PPC team.
- Maintain product quality by ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
- Reduce production downtime and improve overall productivity.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Analyze production data and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Store, Quality, and Maintenance departments for smooth production flow.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and waste elimination.
- Supervise shop floor activities and resolve production-related issues.




- Ensure timely completion of production orders while maintaining quality standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of welding, sheet metal fabrication, laser cutting, bending, and assembly processes.
- Good problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen will be an added advantage.

Qualification

- Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering.

Experience

- 3–5 years of experience as a Production Engineer in the fabrication or manufacturing industry.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
