Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant with at least 2 years of experience in industrial procurement. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing raw materials, machine shop consumables, and tooling materials while ensuring timely delivery, cost optimization, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure CRCA steel coils and other engineering raw materials.
- Source and purchase machine shop consumables such as cutting oils, lubricants, cutting tools, abrasives, and related items.
- Purchase tooling raw materials and engineering consumables.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and quality departments to ensure uninterrupted material availability.




- Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases accordingly.
- Maintain procurement records and vendor documentation.

Requirements

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Production/Industrial or related discipline).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing/procurement in a manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Experience in purchasing CRCA steel coils, machine shop consumables, and tooling materials is preferred.
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹9,628.30 - ₹18,000.00 per month
