A Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing, checking, submitting, and tracking all project-related bills and quantities. The role coordinates between site execution, drawings, BOQ, measurements, subcontractors, suppliers, and the client/consultant to ensure accurate and timely billing.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Client Billing / RA Bills – Prepare Running Account (RA) bills, interim bills, and final bills based on actual work executed at site.
- Quantity Calculation – Calculate and verify quantities from approved drawings, BOQ, site measurements, and executed work.
- Measurement & Documentation – Prepare and maintain measurement sheets, quantity calculation sheets, joint measurement records, and supporting documents.
- BOQ Monitoring – Compare executed quantities with BOQ quantities and identify excess, saving, substituted, and extra items.
- Subcontractor Billing – Check and certify subcontractor bills against work orders, agreed rates, measurements, and actual site execution.
- Rate Analysis – Prepare rate analysis for extra, non-BOQ, and deviation items using material, labour, machinery, overhead, and applicable schedule rates.
- Billing Reconciliation – Maintain reconciliation statements for major materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, bitumen, and other project-specific materials.
- Drawing & Quantity Review – Study drawings, specifications, BOQ, contracts,



and work orders to ensure billing complies with contractual requirements.
- Variation & Deviation Statements – Prepare deviation statements, variation statements, extra-item claims, and revised quantity statements when required.
- Site Coordination – Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, Accounts Department, Client, and Consultant for measurement and bill certification.
- Bill Tracking – Maintain records of bills submitted, certified quantities, deductions, payments received, outstanding amounts, and pending approvals.
- Cost Monitoring – Compare billed quantities and project expenditure with the approved BOQ/budget and report significant variations to management.
- Material Reconciliation – Verify theoretical versus actual consumption and identify excess consumption, wastage, or discrepancies.
- Contract Compliance – Ensure billing follows contract conditions, technical specifications, approved rates, statutory requirements, and applicable tender provisions.
- Final Bill Preparation – Prepare final quantity statements, final reconciliation, extra-item statements, recoveries, and final project bills after completion.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
