Job Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing therapy for children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing difficulties. The therapist will work with children with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, speech delay, articulation disorders, and other communication challenges. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the child's overall development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assessment and Evaluation
- Conduct speech and language assessments using standardized and informal tools.
- Identify speech delays, articulation issues, language disorders, and communication difficulties.
- Assess oral motor skills, feeding, and swallowing abilities when required.
2. Therapy Intervention
- Plan and implement individualized speech and language therapy programs.
- Work on articulation, expressive language, receptive language, social communication, and fluency.
- Use play-based and evidence-based therapy techniques suitable for children.
3. Goal Planning and Documentation
- Develop individualized therapy goals based on assessment findings.
- Maintain therapy notes, session records, and progress reports.
- Conduct periodic reassessments and update therapy plans accordingly.
4. Parent Counseling and Guidance
- Provide regular feedback to parents regarding the child's progress.
- Guide parents with home training programs and communication strategies.
- Educate parents about speech and language development.
5. Multidisciplinary Collaboration
- Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, Behavioral Therapists, and Psychologists.
- Participate in case discussions and multidisciplinary team meetings.
6. Program Development
- Develop therapy activities and communication programs for children.
- Maintain therapy materials and resources required for sessions.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).
- Registration with the **Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) is mandatory.
Experience
- 0–3 years of experience in pediatric speech therapy preferred.
- Fresh graduates with clinical internship experience may also apply.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of speech and language development in children.
- Ability to work with children with autism, speech delay, and developmental disorders.
- Good observation and documentation skills.
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to counsel and guide parents effectively.
Working Hours
- As per the centre schedule.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
