Skill/Role: Senior DocuSign Developer

Description:-

- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead role
- Proven experience on integrating Salesforce with Docusign.
- Define and drive technical architecture decisions, including system design, API contracts, data modelling, and infrastructure patterns
- Mentor and coach a team of software engineers, conducting code reviews and providing thoughtful technical feedback
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into engineering solutions
- Establish and champion engineering best practices including testing, CI/CD, observability, and security standards
- Own delivery accountability for complex, multi-quarter projects from scoping through production
- Identify and mitigate technical risks; proactively surface architectural issues and propose remediation strategies
- Contribute to hiring by interviewing candidates and helping assess technical fit and culture alignment
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support production reliability and incident response
- Deep expertise in one or more backend languages such as Java, Go, Python, or Node.js
- Solid understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture,



and cloud-native design (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL API design and development
- Demonstrate ability to lead complex technical projects end-to-end with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases and data modeling best practices
- Proven mentorship skills with a track record of growing engineers' capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with DocuSign APIs, eSignature workflows, or identity/agreement management platforms
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, SQS, Pub/Sub) and async processing patterns
- Exposure to platform or developer experience engineering (internal tooling, SDKs, API platforms)
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services, legal, or healthcare- Contributions to open-source projects or public technical writing
- Background in performance optimization for high-throughput, low-latency systems
