Plumbing Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 5+ Years (Industrial Project Experience Preferred)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Plumbing Design Engineer to join our design

team. The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing plumbing and public

health engineering (PHE) systems for industrial, commercial, residential, and infrastructure

projects. The role requires strong technical expertise, compliance with NBC 2016 standards, and

coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Design and develop water supply systems for various industrial projects.

· Prepare drainage layouts, sewerage networks, and stormwater evacuation systems.

· Design rainwater harvesting systems in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.

· Design and coordinate Treatment Plants, including:

Sewage Treatment Plants (STP)

Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP)

Water Treatment Plants (WTP)

· Perform water demand calculations and prepare detailed water balance sheets.

· Determine invert levels, pipe sizing, pump capacities, and system layouts.

· Prepare Design Basis Reports (DBRs), Bills of Quantities (BOQs), and technical specifications.





· Ensure all designs comply with NBC 2016, relevant IS Codes, and local authority requirements.

· Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, HVAC, Electrical, and Fire Protection teams during

project execution.

· Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and design reviews.

· Provide technical support and design clarifications throughout project development.

Requirements

· Solid knowledge of NBC 2016, plumbing design standards, and engineering calculations.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Good understanding of water supply, drainage, stormwater, and treatment plant design

principles.

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with clients and consultants effectively.

Pay: ₹33,305.66 - ₹65,553.90 per month
