About Us: Index Infotech is a premier provider of enterprise solutions, helping businesses optimize operations and achieve growth through cutting-edge ERP solutions. We are looking for an experienced BIM Developer to join our team at our Pune office.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM specialist with a background in civil engineering and demonstrated expertise in developing plugins for Autodesk, Tekla, and Allplan. The ideal candidate will have a full understanding of API integrations and experience in developing AI-driven applications within the construction and architecture space. This role requires a blend of civil engineering knowledge, front-end and back-end development skills, and the ability to enhance Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes through automation and AI.

Requirements

- Strong experience with Autodesk API (Revit, AutoCAD), Tekla API,



and Allplan API for plugin development.

- Civil engineering background with practical knowledge in infrastructure, structural, or transportation projects.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript.

- Experience with web technologies like HTML5, CSS3, React.js, Node.js, and RESTful APIs.

- Familiarity with AI technologies, including machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and their applications in BIM or civil engineering projects.

- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for deploying AI applications.

- Expertise in database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, MongoDB) to manage BIM and civil engineering data.

- In-depth knowledge of 3D modeling, computational design algorithms, and geometry manipulation in BIM environments.

- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

- Previous experience in developing AI applications specifically for civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects.

- Knowledge of IFC standards for BIM data exchange and civil engineering workflows.

- Familiarity with structural analysis tools and civil engineering design software.

- Experience in applying computer vision to civil engineering models, e.g., 3D object recognition.

- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design.

Additional Qualification:

- Civil engineering background with practical experience in the field, contributing to an in-depth understanding of industry-specific challenges and solutions.
