Job Title: ERP Systems Consultant / Unit4 ERP Consultant
Department: IT Systems
Business Function/Sub Function: Finance Systems
Location: Noida, Bangalore (Work from Office)
Role Purpose
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented ERP Finance Consultant to join our team in a full-time, Work-from-Office capacity at our Noida / Bengaluru location. In this role, you will bridge the gap between financial operations and enterprise technology. You will be responsible for configuring core financial modules, analysing business requirements, mapping financial workflows, and providing continuous operational support. The ideal candidate possesses a solid problem-solving mindset, functional accounting knowledge, and exceptional communication skills to interface effectively with stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Functional System Configuration: Lead the setup, maintenance, and configuration of core financial modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Cash Management, and Budgeting.
- Process Mapping & Requirement Gathering: Collaborate closely with finance process owners to gather business requirements, analyse existing financial workflows, and translate them into optimized ERP solution designs.
- Master Data & Financial Control: Maintain Chart of Accounts (COA), system parameters, dimension setups, and attribute data to ensure strict data governance and integrity across global financial operations.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build, run, and maintain standard and customized financial reports, executive dashboards, and reconciliation statements to support month-end close and audit activities.
- System Support & Maintenance:
Serve as the primary contact for resolving 1st/2nd/3rd line functional queries, operational glitches, and troubleshooting transaction/posting errors in a timely manner.
- Integration & Testing: Partner with technical teams during module upgrades, integration setups (e.g., banking portals, CRM, external HR applications), and perform rigorous Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Training & Documentation: Develop user manuals, conduct training sessions for end-users, and drive smooth change management across internal business teams.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA in Finance (strongly preferred), Master’s/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Information Technology.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial systems analysis, finance functional consulting, or implementing enterprise ERP finance modules.
- Core Technical & Functional Skills:
- In-depth understanding of core accounting concepts (Record-to-Report, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Financial Closing).
- Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Tier-1 or Tier-2 ERP financial platforms (e.g., Oracle, Workday, SAP, Unit4, or equivalent platforms).
- Proficiency with reporting engines, spreadsheet tools, and basic SQL/data queries for troubleshooting.
- Mindset & Communication:
- Problem-Solving: Proven analytical mindset with a strong ability to diagnose complex system issues and propose scalable solution designs.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain complex technical solutions clearly to non-technical finance leaders and stakeholders.
