Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer (Vibro) to join our Design Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing machine components, preparing engineering drawings, BOMs, and assembly drawings, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and error-free project execution. The candidate should have strong fundamentals in machine design, engineering calculations, manufacturing processes, and AutoCAD drafting.

Key Responsibilities:-

Prepare machine design drawings, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, Assembly Drawings, Detail Drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

Develop accurate engineering drawings for machine components such as shafts, sprockets, pulleys, gears, structural fabrication, and sheet metal fabrication.

Create and maintain BOMs and update item codes in ERP systems (SAP, Baan, or similar).

Perform drawing revisions, as-built drawing updates, and BOM corrections based on inputs from QA, Production, and Planning departments.

Assist the Design Manager in developing recent machine designs and engineering solutions.

Select standard bought-out components such as bearings, gearboxes, induction motors, chains, sprockets, pulleys, pneumatic components, and hardware.

Prepare machine operation and instruction manuals.

Coordinate with Sales, Production, QA, and Planning teams to resolve technical issues and provide design support.

Ensure all drawings and design deliverables are completed accurately and within project timelines.





Required Qualifications:-Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute.

Experience:-

3–4 years of experience in the Design Department of a machine manufacturing company.

Preferred experience in industries such as:Cranes,CNC Machines,Moulding Machines,Packaging Machines,Special Purpose Machines (SPMs)

Note: Candidates with experience primarily in piping, pressure vessels, or only 2D/3D drafting software without machine design experience will not be considered.

Technical Skills:-

Strong knowledge of machine design principles and engineering calculations.

Good understanding of engineering materials and manufacturing processes.

Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics will be an added advantage.

Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.

Experience in 3D modelling software is preferred.

Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T; (dimensioning and tolerances), and fabrication drawings.

Experience in BOM preparation and ERP systems (SAP, Baan, or equivalent).

Required Competencies:-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent drafting speed and technical documentation skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Salary:-₹30,000 – ₹40,000 per month

Preferred Candidate Profile:-

Age: 25 years and above

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to design and problem-solving.

Ability to deliver quality work within deadlines while maintaining engineering standards
