MTM College of Arts, Science & Commerce, affiliated with the University of Calicut and NAAC B++ Accredited, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor in Physical Education to contribute to the academic and sports excellence of the institution. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching Physical Education courses, promoting student fitness and wellness, organizing sports activities, and supporting the overall development of the college's sports culture.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions in Physical Education and Sports.
- Plan, organize, and conduct sports, games, and fitness programmes for students.
- Train and mentor students for intercollegiate, university, state, and national-level competitions.
- Maintain sports facilities, equipment, and inventory.
- Organize annual sports meets, tournaments, and extracurricular sports activities.




- Assess student performance and maintain academic and sports-related records.
- Participate in curriculum development, departmental activities, seminars, workshops, and institutional development.
- Promote physical fitness, discipline, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among students.

Requirements

- Master's Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) with a robust academic background.
- NET or Ph.D. is mandatory as per UGC norms.
- Good communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Experience in organizing sports events and training students is desirable.
- Commitment to academic excellence, student development, and institutional growth.
