- Prepare detailed 2D drawings and 3D models of castings, patterns, and core boxes using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA.
- Analyze customer-provided drawings for design feasibility, applying GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine manufacturability.
- Perform calculations for shrinkage, casting weight, and material selection.
- Develop gating and risering designs to ensure proper metal flow and solidification, aiming for "First Time Right" (FTR) designs.
Education: B.E/B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
Experience : Minimum 1 to 3 years
