About Kwill

Kwill is the client portal for the world's service businesses — a SaaS platform used by freelancers, small studios, and independent professionals across 40+ countries. We're building the alternative to HoneyBook, Dubsado, and Bonsai. Our team is small, based in Amritsar, with the founding team in Waterloo, Canada. Launching July 2026.

About the Role

We're hiring our first in-house Graphic Designer to own Kwill's visual language across social media, ad creative, brand assets, and product marketing. You'll work directly with the founder on everything the brand touches — Instagram carousels, LinkedIn graphics, landing page visuals, ad creative, and internal design systems.

Our aesthetic is deliberately warm, textured, and human — not sleek or premium. Think Notion's early illustrations, honest craft, real product screenshots. If your portfolio has warmth in it, keep reading.

Responsibilities

- Design Instagram carousels, LinkedIn posts, and static content for daily social publishing
- Create ad creative for Meta, LinkedIn, and Google campaigns across multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
- Build brand assets — templates, illustrations, presentation decks, in-app visuals
- Design landing page graphics and marketing visuals for getkwill.com
- Own Kwill's visual system as it grows — typography, colour, illustration standards
- Work closely with our social media and marketing teams on content briefs
- Ship work weekly — everything you design goes live on Kwill's channels within days

Requirements





- 0–2 years of graphic design experience (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, colour, layout, and brand thinking
- Working proficiency in Figma
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and/or Photoshop
- Valuable written English — you'll write short briefs and review copy
- Ability to work full-time in Amritsar (in-person, not remote)

Nice to Have

- Motion design basics (After Effects, Rive, or Lottie)
- Understanding of Instagram carousel and LinkedIn post formats
- Previous work for SaaS, freelance-facing, or creator-economy brands
- Illustration ability

- Salary: ₹2,25,000 – ₹2,50,000 per year
- Working hours: Mon–Fri 12:30 PM – 7:30 PM IST, Sat 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM IST
- 1 paid leave day per month plus public holidays
- 3-month probation period
