Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Economics Research Analyst to support research-driven business decisions through economic analysis, market research, and data interpretation. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in economics or econometrics, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights while maintaining high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct economic and market research across industries, sectors, and macroeconomic environments.
- Collect, validate, and analyze data from credible public and proprietary sources.
- Track economic indicators such as GDP, inflation, interest rates, and employment trends.
- Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and global economic developments.
- Prepare detailed research reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Maintain structured databases, trackers, and research documentation.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support business strategy and decision-making.
- Develop economic models and forecasting insights where applicable.
- Support investment and financial research initiatives with data-backed insights.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of research outputs.
- Handle confidential data with professionalism and integrity.
- Collaborate with internal teams for research and reporting requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong understanding of economic theories, market structures, and research methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking,



and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Data Analysis, Dashboards).
- Strong report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of statistics, econometrics, and data interpretation techniques.
- Ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends and patterns.
- Positive communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism.

- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- Microsoft Word & PowerPoint
- Google Workspace
- Basic knowledge of statistical tools (R / Python / SPSS is a plus)

Educational Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in:
- Economics (BA / MA)
- Econometrics (BSc / MSc)
- Statistics or Mathematics (BSc / MSc)

Experience Required
