Conveyancing Legal Assistant & Para Legal
Practice Area: Real Estate – Property Documentation & Conveyancing Advisory (Non-Litigation)
About the Role : We are a Pune-based legal advisory firm specialising in property documentation and conveyancing. We are looking for a proactive Conveyancing Legal Assistant & Para legal to support on day-to-day transaction coordination, client communication, documentation and administrative work. This is a non-litigation role — no court appearances required.
Key Responsibilities
Client Intake & Coordination: Attend incoming calls, WhatsApp messages and emails from clients, brokers and developers; record query details (property, parties, transaction type); prepare brief intake notes and route to the advocate or relevant team member.
Transaction File Management: Open and maintain transaction files in Excel and the firm's software; update the master matter tracker with stages, critical dates, documents received/pending, and next actions.
Document Collection & Follow-Up: Share document checklists with clients; follow up with clients, banks, societies and developers for title documents, NOCs, KYC and other papers; track receipt and flag gaps.
Para-legal Drafting Support: Populate first drafts of standard property documents (agreements for sale, gift deeds, release deeds, leave & licence agreements, authority letters) using firm templates; prepare execution sets and completion checklists under the advocate's supervision.
Execution & Registration Coordination:
Organise execution/registration appointments; coordinate with all parties, witnesses and registration agents; prepare registration sets (deed copies, annexures, stamp duty receipts, ID documents); update file after registration.
Calendar & Administrative Management: Manage the advocate's calendar (client meetings, execution dates, society meetings, online calls); handle printing, scanning, binding and digital filing; maintain physical and digital records with proper indexing.
Billing & Communication Support: Maintain basic billing records; prepare and send fee notes using templates; send meeting reminders and status updates to clients as per instructions from the advocate.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
