Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to manage the hospital's HT Electrical Systems, Plumbing Infrastructure, Fire Safety Systems, Water Utilities, Generators, Lifts, RO Plant, and Building Services. The ideal candidate should ensure uninterrupted hospital operations through preventive maintenance, statutory compliance, vendor coordination, and rapid response to infrastructure failures.

Non-Negotiable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- 100% uptime of Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Safety & Utility Systems.
- Breakdowns must be acknowledged within 15 minutes and resolved within approved SLA.
- Preventive Maintenance Compliance: Minimum 95%.
- Zero statutory non-compliance with Fire, Electrical, Lift, Water, and Safety authorities.
- Monthly engineering audit reports with corrective action closure.
- Zero patient care disruption due to infrastructure failures.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Infrastructure

- Manage HT/LT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, lifts, electrical panels, power rooms, and distribution systems.
- Monitor electrical loads, energy utilization, and ensure uninterrupted power supply.
- Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and attend emergency breakdowns.

2. Plumbing & Utility Management

- Maintain water supply, drainage, sewage systems, pumps, motors, tanks, pipelines, RO Plant, and utility services.




- Ensure uninterrupted water availability and timely rectification of plumbing issues.
- Monitor utility consumption and recommend improvements.

3. Fire Safety & Statutory Compliance

- Maintain fire alarm systems, hydrants, sprinklers, extinguishers, emergency lighting, and evacuation systems.
- Liaise with Fire Department, Electrical Inspectorate, Lift Inspectorate, and statutory authorities.
- Conduct mock drills, safety inspections, and maintain compliance documentation.

4. Preventive Maintenance & Asset Management

- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for all facility infrastructure.
- Maintain AMC/CMC records, maintenance logs, calibration reports, and service history.
- Coordinate vendors for repairs, installations, and annual maintenance activities.

5. Operations & Engineering Support

- Monitor infrastructure performance and recommend improvements.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly engineering reports.
- Support renovation projects, new installations, and hospital expansion activities.

Qualifications & Preferences

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory).

Experience: Minimum 3 years in Hospital, Healthcare, Industrial, or Commercial Facility Maintenance.

Mandatory Skills:

- HT Supervisor License mandatory.
- Experience in hospital engineering and NABH compliance.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and government departments.
- Valuable communication, documentation, and emergency response skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 per month
